Gaelic is the language of Ireland. The names of places in Ireland are derived off of Gaelic. Most words in Ireland are not commonly heard in the modern English language. Gaelic is an old language derived off the old English language, just with more of accent. It is rarely used in America because immigrants of Ireland didn't teache there kids the Gaelic language.
